Remembering our lost ...
I've been spending my day thinking about the people who we've lost supporting freedom in the United States and around the world. Memorial Day is special because it remembers those who have died, especially. I got curious and looked it up; the tradition began after the Civil War, when we lost over half a million soldiers. It was the biggest loss we've ever experienced.
To those family members who have lost a loved one, I for one appreciate their sacrifice for what we have today. Thank you, and God bless you.
Something that has inspired me in my writing is the emotional experience—the release—I experience at a concert. The interaction between the performer and the concertgoer can be epic. I came home feeling the weight and stress of all my due dates and pet illnesses just slough off my shoulders. Have you ever had an experience like that? Tell me about it!
