Valentine's Day
Tis the season for chocolates, little hearts with funny words, and bouquets of roses. Ironic that the holiday commemorating the warmth of love is in probably the coldest month of the year. Why can't we celebrate in July on the beach with a margarita?
I'll be in Seattle visiting family this year, leaving my husband behind. I grew up north of the city on Camano Island but I haven't been back in ten years. I'm super excited to be visiting my 112th-gradeEnglish teacher, Jennifer Kelly, author of The Lower the Tide, the Warmer the Water. She and I are working on her next release, Ocean Falls. You are in for a treat! It's such a sweet, small-town, second-chance romance.
Other than that, there will be a lot of PNW beaches and old friends, and I even have a booking for a tattoo!
